If I were to graduate from the US Coast Guard Academy would I be able to go one to become a boarding officer or join a PSU. From what I’ve heard academy graduates end up working a desk job or become a DWO
You enlist go through Basic training and you will be asked what department you wish to join.
when you enlist in the coast guard do you get to choose what youwant to be in such as law enforcement or rescue teams. or what about you go to the coast guard academy or and ROTC program at a college do you come out an officer and what you want to be in
There is no “rescue” A School.
Are these candidates certified coast guard rescue officers? In other words, they passed A school?
