@1t1o1m1m1i1e nope ur wrong, try the tech the way she instructs and it will work fine. Its not about the centerline of the palm to thumb but more on the opening of the attackers palm from the movement down and then out that helps free u.

@DEdge1221 shes using ju jitsu which is japenese jiu jitsu which has standing self defense techniques like eye gouging neck snaping and arm breaks along with knee breaks all of which bjj doesnt have
NO its the opposite! you should go agianst his thumb not all of his fingers. That technique will not be sufficent!
@DEdge1221 this is traditional self defence not bjj the traditional is 150% more effective on the street and doesnt make you fall to the ground with throws wrist locks shoulder locks strikes and pressurepoints
